Joe and Natasha Become Mr and Mrs

Joe and Natasha Become Mr and Mrs

There was no better way than to spend September long weekend watching these two say their nuptials.  They had a full crowd and one beautiful ceremony at the historic Rosenheim church in Alberta.  (For anyone who has been to this historic landmark - you will know and appreciate how exquisite this church really is- not what you'd expect to find in the middle of the prairies.)  We had planned to go back to their scenic family farm for family and formal photos afterwards, but sometimes on a wedding day - we have to go with the flow of the weather.  The rain downpour definitely put a damper on our picked photo locations - but it sure didn't affect the pure love and genuine happiness of this couple!  They were so easy going and with smiles on their faces, we took a trek to get out of the rain and went to work!  Having fun along the way, we definitely captured some awesome moments.  But this was all not long before we got hit with one of the biggest rain storms of the year!  But isn't rain supposed to be good luck on a wedding?  That's what we went with!

The evening was full of great laughs, great food, and great visits (and of course, tons of dancing!)  They had family and friends from all over come enjoy the evening - some of the relatives travelled as far as Europe to come celebrate this beautiful couple.  Dancing til the wee hours in the morning - I think it's fair to say that fun was had by all!

Congratulations once again Natasha & Joe - we have no doubt you have many years of bliss ahead of you!  Enjoy the journey together - it's sure to be a great one.

Tessa & Warren

It was an absolute pleasure to be able to capture Tessa and Warren's big day a couple of weeks ago in a small ceremony held on the homestead that the happy couple will start their lives together on.

As with most small town weddings, it was truly fantastic to see a large number of people from the community in which Tessa and Warren call home join them and their family to celebrate. The meal was prepared locally, and if you have ever been to a small town wedding you know just how good those suppers with locally grown food are.

One of the most amazing things we get to capture as photographers is the first time the groom gets to see the bride. Tessa and Warren had a spectacular first look prior to the ceremony that showcased how deeply in love these two are.

We want to wish Tessa, Warren and their one year old son Brody all of the best in the future and congratulations on your special day! Thank you for letting us capture your love for one another.

Nicole & John

We were happy and grateful to spend Canada Day, Friday July 1, with Nicole and John as they said their vows in Vermilion, Alberta in a wedding full of love, laughter and fun.

The church and the banquet hall were packed with friends and family, both young and old, joining this awesome couple in a fun filled celebration. Bride and groom games, stories, an amazing slideshow of the couple that had the entire hall in tears from laughing and a shot-ski to allow for group shots were an amazing way to allow their friends and family to see what a loving couple Nicole and John are.

A wedding day can be long and exhausting for a bride and groom but Nicole and John are a photographer's dream as the fun loving couple gave us free reign to capture the mood, excitement and fun.

We want to give Nicole and John a HUGE congratulations on their big day and we hope that there are many more slideshow worthy moments for this couple in their future!
